Lorena Alvarez (B.A., M.Arch., M.Ed. candidate) is a skilled educator, artist, and designer with experience in both analog and digital methods of making. Her practice is wide-ranging and encompasses Graphic Design, Art, Sculpture, Installation Art, Architecture, Sustainable Design, Urban Design, and Interior Design.

She is a education professional with over 10 years of teaching experience. Lorena has lectured and taught at the university level as well as K-12, she holds PK-12 Pennsylvania certification in Art Education, Technology Education, and Spanish. In the classroom Lorena employs project-based, interdisciplinary teaching methods in an effort to cultivate confident learners who embrace a growth mindset. She promotes a culture of experimentation through lessons that further problem solving skills and conceptual thinking. Students leave her classroom with the ability to analyze and synthesize information as well as the ability to express the intangible.
